Season 1 | Episode 18: MiME LESSONS

Pipì, Pupù & Rosemary

Animation/Nature, France/Luxembourg 2007

Pipì, Pupù and Rosemary are about to have breakfast with delicious blackberries when they hear crows’ laughter coming from a nearby wheat field. When they move closer, they discover that the birds are having a jolly time making fun of the scarecrow. After having ruled out that the scarecrow is Mapà, Pipì, Pupù and Rosemary join in the fun, laughing at the scarecrow’s gawky movements. When the sun sets, the birds go home and when they have left, the trio are greatly surprised to discover that the scarecrow becomes alive. It explains that it would rather entertain and amuse the birds with its mime skills than to scare them by waving its arms like a madman and thus keep them from eating the grain. That’s when Pupù has an idea. They go off and put on a little show of their own for a family of hedgehogs, who in turn pay them for it with more sweet blackberries.
