In a thunderstorm, Marinette gets lost on her way home and meets the ghost of Esclarmonde in the forest. Her grandfather tells her the sad story of the little girl who once lost her way in the forest, can't find her way home since then and curses everyone who meets her. Together with Jacques, Marinette must now try to lead Esclarmonde out of the forest.
